This is steady-state porometer. the principle is the vapor exchange between leaf and air, use the mothod of air exchange, measure the relevant humidity, temperature of in the leaf, thus get the Transpiration speed of the leaf, and measure the temperature of the leaf , calculate the

Water vapor gradient, according to vapor transportation impedance formula, thus get the stomatal resistance or stomatal conductance

This is steady-state porometer. the principle is the vapor exchange between leaf and air, use the mothod of air exchange, measure the relevant humidity, temperature of in the leaf, thus get the Transpiration speed of the leaf, and measure the temperature of the leaf , calculate the Water vapor gradient, according to vapor transportation impedance formula, thus get the stomatal resistance or stomatal conductance

Operation:

1.      Connect the handle to the meter’s handle connector.

2.      Connect the pipe to the meter, and the other side of the pipe should be put in a place of stable temperature and humidity.

3.      Press the power button,  close the leaf cabin without leaf, press ok to measure.

4.      Put the leaf in the cabin and measure again.

The screen will show TA, temperature of the cabin, T1, temperature of the leaf, Rha, Humidity of air, after 90 seconds, there will appear E( transpiration rate (  C (stomatic conductance)

Press ok to save, press ESC to next measurement.
